You are so inspiring! Not only was this a great story told with video, but it hit a personal note with me as well.
My late grandpa had two pecan trees, one in his front yard and another in the back yard. Pecan hulling is tough work and those that do it are extrememly dedicated. He was so proud to give away the fruits of his labor. It is amazing how one person’s story can open up so many parts of another person’s life.
You will forever remain an inspiration to what I hope is my continued career in storytelling.

Definitely agree with what you stated. Your explanation was certainly the easiest to understand. I tell you, I usually get irked when folks discuss issues that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail right on the head and explained out everything without complication. Maybe, people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
That is very generous of you Shayna – I really loved making this video and doing the research. It is an important part of the human history of San Antonio. I’m so glad you appreciate it!
